Sometimes, a good book doesn’t necessarily need to be a piece of literary masterpiece. It can simply be fun and filled with images. When the illustrated book is about coffee and how it gives you super powers, it’s already a win for me.
I heard about “Coffee Gives Me Superpowers” by Ryoko Iwata from her website I Love Coffee. I saw some of her infographic about coffee on Pinterest and thought they were brilliant and cute. Some may wonder why buy her book when you can just follow her on different social media. I think, as someone who would want to make a living from something I love doing, buying her book is a way to support her dream. I would want someone to do the same for me one day.
Whether you are a coffee addict like Iwata or myself, or you just want a light and colourful book on your coffee table, this illustrated book makes it fun to read about coffee facts. For a preview, her work is also on Instagram, Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.
Happy everything coffee!
